Police investigation into allegations regarding Sandy and former judge Michalis Christodoulou
A woman known as Sandy, central to allegations publicized by journalist Makarios Drousiotis, reportedly met with police in secrecy last week. During these meetings, she allegedly claimed that the SMS messages currently in the public domain are fabricated and provided her own version of how they were created. Law enforcement authorities, while not officially confirming or denying these reports, are reportedly skeptical of her claims, suggesting they may stem from pressure or fear. Her lawyer, Nikos Kliridis, previously stated that he holds a significant amount of material, including 300 to 1,000 SMS messages, videos, and photos, which he intends to hand over to authorities for investigation. These materials allegedly involve a former Supreme Court judge, Michalis Christodoulou, and implicate other political figures. Despite Sandy's reported reluctance to provide a formal statement, police are planning to recall her for further questioning. The lawyer maintains that the original evidence was verified unofficially by experts abroad and that the woman had previously fled the country due to safety concerns. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities wait for the formal handover of the digital evidence.
