Sistema Cyprus hosts 'Crossing Paths' concert at Satiriko Theater

On Sunday evening, the Sistema Cyprus organization held a concert titled 'Crossing Paths' at the Satiriko Theater. Deputy Minister of Culture Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou attended the event, representing President Nikos Christodoulides. The program featured performances by the Junior string and percussion orchestra, as well as the debut of the Beginner string orchestra. The concert highlighted the educational and social work of Sistema Cyprus, which provides music instruction to children and youth, including refugees, migrants, and underprivileged individuals. During the event, the organization's recent recognition by the Council of Europe, specifically the Pompidou Group Prevention Prize 2025, was acknowledged. The Deputy Minister praised the organization for its pedagogical contribution and the progress made by the participating children. The concert served to showcase the potential of music education in fostering social cohesion.
