Dimitris Papadakis releases forensic analysis of mobile devices regarding social media allegations

Former MEP Dimitris Papadakis has released the findings of an independent forensic analysis conducted on his mobile devices covering the period from 2019 to 2026. This investigation follows public allegations made by investigative journalist Makarios Drousiotis regarding purported messages between Papadakis and a former Supreme Court judge. Papadakis has categorically denied the claims, describing the alleged conversations as fabricated, and stated he has never met the individual mentioned in the report. He appointed expert Alexis Mavros on March 31 to examine his devices, and the resulting report was submitted to the police on April 2. The forensic findings conclude that there is no evidence to support the claims of the alleged communications. In light of the ongoing controversy, the Alma movement withdrew Papadakis from its list of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. Papadakis has initiated legal proceedings and continues to demand a full investigation into the origin of the alleged documents.
