Bank of Cyprus announces reward scheme for hotel stays
The Bank of Cyprus has launched an initiative to support the local hospitality sector amid regional instability related to the Middle East crisis. From April 6, 2026, to June 30, 2026, cardholders will earn five times the standard reward points on hotel bookings. To qualify, payments must be processed directly at the hotel during check-in or check-out, excluding payments made through third-party booking platforms. The total reward amount is capped at €50 per customer for the duration of the campaign. Irene Gregoriou, Chief of Consumer Banking at the Bank of Cyprus, stated that the program aims to bolster domestic tourism and recognize customer loyalty. Participating hotels are listed on the bank's official website. This measure is positioned as a response to the economic pressures currently affecting the Cypriot hotel industry.
