Sabbianco Anorthosis and Parnassos qualify for the Allwyn handball championship finals
Sabbianco Anorthosis and Parnassos have advanced to the Allwyn Men's Handball Championship finals after bypassing the semifinal stage. This occurred following their respective victories over the European University and ALS Omonia 29 on the final day of the second phase. On Sunday, April 5, Sabbianco Anorthosis defeated the European University 29-25, finishing the regular season undefeated. Simultaneously, Parnassos secured their final berth by defeating ALS Omonia 29 with a score of 35-23. Because previous results in the regular season carry over into the playoffs, both teams advanced directly due to their dominant performance. In the upcoming finals, Sabbianco Anorthosis leads with three wins against Parnassos and requires two additional victories to clinch the title. Meanwhile, ALS Omonia 29 and the European University will compete for third place, with the former currently holding a 3-1 lead in their series.
