Municipality of Ayia Napa issues tender for Autism Center
The Municipality of Ayia Napa has officially launched the tender process for the construction of the Model Autism Center in the Famagusta district. This project, with an estimated total budget of 4.5 million euros, is funded by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare. Financial planning allocates 1.5 million euros for 2026 and 3 million euros for 2027. The facility will include an adult day care center featuring therapy rooms, administrative offices, workshops, and a kitchen. Additionally, the complex will provide supported living quarters for adults and a guest house for individuals with autism. The project aims to serve as a regional hub for support, therapy, and social inclusion. It represents the realization of a long-standing request from the local community to improve social infrastructure for individuals on the autism spectrum.
