Journalist reports on unverified digital archives regarding public figures
On April 6, journalist Fanis Makridis published a report in the newspaper Phileleftheros regarding a collection of over 150 digital files allegedly belonging to a person referred to as 'Santy'. The archive consists of screenshots from platforms such as Telegram, Messenger, Signal, and Viber, as well as an audio message. The files reportedly contain communications involving a senior judge, a Legal Service official, a lawyer, an executive branch official, a well-known politician, and a current MEP. Further allegations include discussions regarding the 'Focus' case and requests for judicial assistance from political figures. The newspaper clarified that the authenticity of these messages has not been verified by any independent authority. It was also noted that the individual associated with the files has not cooperated with law enforcement. Police are officially investigating the matter, which has gained public attention following references in posts by Makarios Drousiotis.
