Luka Doncic injured with hamstring strain, status for playoffs uncertain
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has sustained a grade two hamstring strain in his left leg, causing him to miss the remainder of the regular season. The 27-year-old Slovenian guard suffered the injury during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Medical personnel from the team are collaborating with private specialists, and Doncic will travel to Europe for specialized treatment in an effort to return for the playoffs. The NBA playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 18, making his participation highly uncertain. Additionally, the Lakers will be without Austin Reaves for four to six weeks due to a severe muscle strain. Doncic, who is currently the NBA's leading scorer with 33.5 points per game, has appeared in 64 matches this season. The Lakers are currently third in the Western Conference with a record of 50 wins and 27 losses.
