Cyprus service sector growth and tourism records for 2025

According to the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) during their Annual General Meeting on April 28, 2026, the Cypriot service sector recorded significant growth in 2025. Specific improvements included a 9.5% increase in accommodation and food services, 7.4% in administrative support, 4.6% in professional and scientific activities, 4.3% in information and communication, 2.8% in transport and storage, and 0.4% in real estate management. Simultaneously, the Statistical Service of Cyprus reported that total tourist arrivals in 2025 reached 4,534,073, a 12.2% increase compared to 4,040,200 in 2024. In December 2025 alone, there were 156,959 tourist arrivals, marking an 18% increase over December 2024. The OEB emphasizes that these sectors remain vital pillars for national economic development and employment.
