Anti-war protest held in Tel Aviv
On a recent afternoon, over 1,000 protesters gathered at Habima Square in Tel Aviv to call for an end to conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. The demonstration was organized by the Israeli-Palestinian group Standing Together. Participants carried signs criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demanding a shift from military action to diplomatic discussion. Police had authorized only 150 attendees due to wartime security measures. When the crowd size exceeded the permit limit, police moved to disperse the demonstrators. Several protesters remained at the site by sitting on the ground. Co-director Alon-Lee Green stated that the group felt a duty to voice opposition despite police efforts to limit the gathering. Attendees also cited concerns regarding ongoing violence in the West Bank.
