Anagennisi Yermasoyias and Chalkanor Suns advance to U16 men's basketball finals

Anagennisi Yermasoyias secured their spot in the U16 men's basketball regional championship final by defeating Achilleas Kaimakliou 58-48 in the second leg of the semifinal series, following their initial 50-46 victory. The qualification was determined by the total aggregate score of 108-94 across both matches. In the other semifinal series, Chalkanor Suns advanced to the final after defeating AEK Larnaca 62-58 in the second leg at the Kition arena. Combined with their 58-48 first-leg win, the Suns qualified with a total aggregate score of 120-106. While AEK Larnaca showed promise with a strong start in the second game, the Chalkanor Suns regained control during the second quarter to secure the win. Both Anagennisi Yermasoyias and Chalkanor Suns remained undefeated in their respective semifinal series.
