Cyprus Postal Services suspend parcel shipments to the United States

The Cyprus Department of Postal Services has announced a temporary suspension of parcel shipments to the United States. This measure was implemented due to ongoing issues with customs processing for items entering the U.S. According to the department, Cypriot postal authorities have made repeated attempts to obtain clarification from U.S. counterparts regarding the nature of these problems, but have yet to receive a clear response. As a result, only document shipments are currently being accepted for delivery to the U.S. The authorities state that this decision was made to protect senders until stable postal management within the U.S. can be guaranteed. The department is actively working to resolve these technical issues. Customers will be notified once a new shipping procedure is established.
