Cyprus University of Technology updates student housing policy for 2026-27
The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) has announced changes to its student housing policy for the 2026-27 academic year. Priority for housing will be given to incoming students residing more than 25 kilometers away from Limassol. These students will bypass the standard point-based system, allowing for direct access to rooms without bureaucratic delays. Beneficiaries are guaranteed affordable accommodation for at least one academic year. In total, the university will offer approximately 700 rooms in Limassol and 180 in Paphos. The policy also supports continuing students facing financial hardship, and those who secure a room from their second year onwards may retain it until graduation without annual re-evaluation. These measures aim to provide stable housing and facilitate the transition to university life for newcomers.
