Update on health status of coach Mircea Lucescu

Mircea Lucescu, the 80-year-old football coach, remains hospitalized at the University Emergency Hospital in Bucharest following a cardiac event. Medical staff have moved him to the intensive care unit as a precautionary measure. He is currently monitored closely, and his condition is described by the hospital as stable. This health crisis occurred shortly after the Romanian Football Federation announced the termination of his contract as head coach of the national team. Lucescu previously suffered a heart attack in 2009 while working in Donetsk.
