EAC announces smart meter installation schedule for April

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced the continuation of its mass smart meter installation program throughout April. Affected areas in Nicosia include parts of Latsia, Dali (Ilioupoli and Kallithea), and the entirety of Tseri municipality. In Limassol, work is concentrated in the area between 28th October Avenue, Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, Griva Digeni, Gladstonos, and Anexartisias streets. The installation also extends to the entirety of Oroklini in Larnaca, the city center of Deryneia in Famagusta, and the northern part of Geroskipou in Paphos. During these installations, residents in the designated areas will experience brief power outages. The EAC has specified that these interruptions are necessary for safety and are not expected to exceed 20 minutes. The authority apologized in advance for any inconvenience caused to consumers.
