Four dead following small aircraft crash in Puebla, Mexico

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, a four-seater, single-engine aircraft crashed in a rural area of Huejotzingo, Puebla, Mexico. The incident occurred around noon local time, shortly after the plane took off from the Hermanos Serdan International Airport. The flight was en route to Poza Rica, Veracruz. According to local authorities and the Secretariat of Security, three individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth victim, who was initially recovered alive and transported to a hospital, subsequently died from their injuries.
