Ministry of Education announces electronic confirmation of student registrations for 2026-2027
The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus has announced the electronic confirmation process for student registrations for the 2026-2027 academic year. Parents and guardians of students in public primary schools (grades A-F) and public or community kindergartens (ages 4 4/12 to 6) must confirm their child's registration between April 21 and April 24, 2026. For grades A and B, parents with existing accounts on the eDEA portal will receive notifications on April 21; those without accounts will be contacted by their respective schools between April 21 and 24. For all other primary grades and kindergarten students, parents must access the Electronic Registration Confirmation Portal via the Ministry's website during the same dates. If errors in registration data occur or no notification is received, parents are instructed to contact the school directly. Additionally, families planning to relocate abroad or transfer to private schools are required to notify their child's school by phone between April 21 and 24. The initiative aims to modernize administrative processes and improve service efficiency.
