Pasp and Unicars hold annual mvp awards ceremony for league players
On April 2, 2026, the Pancyprian Footballers Association (PASP) and Unicars, the official Volkswagen representative in Cyprus, hosted an event in Nicosia to honor the most valuable players (MVP) from the 26 rounds of the regular championship season. The awards were determined through objective analysis using the SportsBase international evaluation index in collaboration with the Institute of Sports Analysis (INSA). Key representatives in attendance included Unicars executives Chrysi Nikolaou, Polys Polydorou, and Savvas Pavlou, as well as PASP executive president Spyros Neofytidis and board member Vangelis Kyriakou. While last year's awards featured a different winner for every round, this year saw a consolidation of performance among specific teams. Notably, players from Omonia secured 11 of the 26 available awards. Three Omonia players were recognized as MVPs multiple times throughout the season. The event highlighted the performance of top-tier football talent across the Cypriot league.
