Private messages between Prince Harry and journalist Charlotte Griffiths disclosed in court

During a legal battle between Prince Harry and Associated Newspapers Limited, private Facebook and mobile messages between the Duke of Sussex and journalist Charlotte Griffiths were released. These documents were presented by the defense to challenge Prince Harry's previous testimony. The Duke had claimed under oath that he met the journalist only once at a party and ceased all contact upon learning of her profession. However, the newly disclosed evidence suggests ongoing communication between 2011 and 2012. Records show the two connected on Facebook in 2011, and the Prince provided his mobile number to the journalist. Correspondence from June 2011 indicates a friendly exchange following an all-night party, including messages where the Prince described the event as one of his best weekends. The evidence also indicates further contact occurred at least ten days after their initial meeting. The disclosure is intended to undermine the credibility of the Duke's court testimony regarding his interactions with the media.
