Infrastructure upgrades underway in Anavargos district of Paphos

The Municipality of Paphos is currently performing road, sidewalk, and landscaping works in the Anavargos district. Acting Mayor Aggelos Onisiforou stated that the projects are focused on the roads leading to the silos and the Paphos General Hospital. Construction crews have removed trees whose roots damaged sidewalk pavement. New mulberry trees, which are considered more suitable for the urban environment, will be planted as replacements. Regarding traffic issues on the road toward the silos, officials announced that the contractor will perform road repairs on Friday morning. The municipality expects traffic flow to return to normal following the completion of these repairs. This initiative is part of a broader municipal effort to improve the safety and condition of local infrastructure.
