Cyprus game industry summit held in Limassol
On March 24, 2026, the Cyprus Game Makers Association (CYGMA) hosted an industry gathering at Warehouse in Limassol. The event brought together representatives from game development studios, publishers, investment funds, and various support sectors, including legal and financial services. General Manager of CYGMA, Andrey Ivashentsev, delivered the keynote address outlining the current state and future prospects of the island's gaming sector. The association reported that there are currently over 300 active studios operating in Cyprus. According to the presented data, the industry is projected to reach $1.6 billion in revenue by 2025. This represents a steady year-on-year growth rate of approximately 4.5 percent. Ivashentsev emphasized the necessity for increased structural organization and collaboration among stakeholders to sustain this growth. The event served as a platform for networking and aimed to strengthen the role of CYGMA as a representative body for the industry.
