Two arrested in Limassol following large drug and anabolic substance seizure
On Wednesday morning, Cyprus Police Anti-Narcotics Squad (YKAN) officers stopped a 27-year-old man in Limassol. During the vehicle search, police recovered 6 grams of cocaine, one ecstasy pill, a precision scale, and 2,010 euros. A subsequent court-authorized search of the man's residence, shared with a 39-year-old woman, yielded 293 grams of cannabis, 13 grams of cannabis resin, six anabolic products, three precision scales, 1,350 euros, and 100 dollars. A further search of the woman's vehicle uncovered an additional 40 grams of cannabis, 45 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 8 grams of cannabis resin, 7 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of ketamine, 16 grams of MDMA, 24 ecstasy pills, and four electronic cigarettes containing CBG. Both suspects were arrested, and the investigation is ongoing. Some reports state the woman's vehicle search included various additional substances, while initial reports focused primarily on the primary seizure quantities.
