Registration for Cyprus parliamentary election voter rolls closes today

The deadline for voter registration for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Cyprus, scheduled for May 24, 2026, expires at midnight on April 2, 2026. Citizens aged 18 and older who have been permanent residents of Cyprus for the last six months are eligible to vote. Young people who reach the age of 18 by the date of the election are also entitled to register. To facilitate public access, District Administration offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, and the Paralimni office in Famagusta, as well as Citizen Service Centers and the Ministry of Interior, remain open until 17:00. Applicants under 25 may submit their registration electronically via the elections.gov.cy portal. Additionally, the deadline for submitting applications for voting at overseas polling stations—specifically in Greece, the United Kingdom, and Belgium—also closes today. After today, no further changes or new registrations will be accepted for the official voter lists.
