Cyprus weightlifting team to participate in Panhellenic championship

The Cyprus Weightlifting Federation has announced its participation in the Panhellenic Youth and Cadet Weightlifting Championship, scheduled for April 3 and 4 in Thessaloniki. Two athletes will represent the national team: Zoe Ioannou, competing in the under-15 girls' 69kg category, and Rafail Morarou, competing in the under-15 boys' 60kg category. Rafail Morarou is scheduled to compete on Friday, April 3, at 10:00, while Zoe Ioannou will compete on Saturday, April 4, at 16:00. This announcement follows a recent national meeting of young weightlifters in Cyprus, where athletes gathered for joint training and experience sharing. The federation stated that it continues to prioritize the development of young talent.
