Owner reunited with dog three years after theft in Los Angeles
Shelton Trainer, a resident of Los Angeles, was reunited with his 11-year-old Boston Terrier named Bee after three years of separation. The dog had been stolen from the porch of Trainer's home in July 2022. Following the theft, Trainer actively searched for his pet by distributing flyers. On March 30, a friend identified the dog in an Instagram post by the Los Angeles-based animal rescue organization Wags & Walks, which had found the animal in a shelter. The dog was on the verge of being adopted by another family, but the scheduled adoption was cancelled at the last minute when the prospective owners did not arrive. Upon returning home, the dog reportedly displayed recognition of the apartment and her bed. Trainer expressed gratitude for the community assistance that led to the recovery of his pet.
