Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation to host Easter wine pairing workshop
The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation has announced an experiential workshop focused on pairing Cypriot wines with traditional Easter dishes. Scheduled for April 5 at 11:00, the session will be led by wine and gastronomy educator Florentia Kythreotou, who holds a WSET Level 3 qualification. The workshop aims to provide practical guidance on selecting wines for the Holy Saturday night dinner, the Easter Sunday table, and traditional dessert pairings. Participants will engage in a tasting of five selected Cypriot wines alongside small samples of Easter food. The event includes a presentation on the principles of food and wine harmony followed by an interactive discussion with the audience. This initiative is part of the foundation's ongoing research and tribute to intangible cultural heritage. The workshop is open to adults interested in refining their festive dining choices.
