Woman assaulted in Corinth by ex-partner and his current girlfriend
On Sunday evening, a foreign national woman was assaulted outside her apartment building in central Corinth. According to police reports, her former partner, from whom she separated approximately 10 years ago, lay in wait for her. The attacker allegedly struck her, hit her head against an elevator door, and applied pepper spray and turpentine to her face and hair. The victim eventually lost consciousness due to the physical trauma and pain. Forensic examiner Nikos Kotakidis examined the woman and documented extensive injuries to her face and body. The victim's ex-partner and his current girlfriend have been arrested by local authorities. While the victim identified her ex-partner as the primary attacker, reports state that both the ex-partner and his current girlfriend were apprehended in connection with the incident.
