Plug and Play Tech Center to establish innovation hub in Cyprus

Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis announced that the Plug and Play Tech Center will officially launch its operations in Cyprus on April 7, 2026. The launch event will take place at the Presidential Palace. The center aims to integrate Cyprus into a global innovation ecosystem, providing local businesses and research organizations with access to international investment capital and expertise. The program includes six cycles of incubation and acceleration, which are expected to support approximately 60 startups in specialized technological sectors. The government projects that the initiative will lead to the creation of about 500 new high-skilled jobs in the medium term. This project serves to connect the local economy with international investment networks and foster international expansion for Cypriot companies. The Plug and Play organization, headquartered in Silicon Valley, is considered a global leader in innovation support services.
