Andreas Paraskevas earns Cyprus national team debut and contract extension with AEK Larnaca

27-year-old goalkeeper Andreas Paraskevas made his debut for the Cyprus national men's football team during a friendly match against Moldova. This appearance follows a period of career difficulties caused by recurring injuries. Paraskevas currently plays for AEK Larnaca, where he has recorded four appearances and contributed to the team winning the Super Cup by saving a decisive penalty against Pafos FC. In recognition of his recovery and professional contribution, AEK Larnaca management has decided to offer him a new contract extension. The new agreement will keep the goalkeeper with the club until the 2027-28 season. The official signing is expected to take place at the conclusion of the current season.
