Cyprus industrial output and production indices report for early 2026

The Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat) released data for the industrial sector covering early 2026. The Index of Industrial Output Prices for February 2026 reached 122.9 units, showing a 0.2% monthly increase and a 1.1% annual rise compared to February 2025. For the January-February 2026 period, the output price index rose by 0.9% compared to the same period in 2025. In February 2026, manufacturing prices rose by 0.3%, while electricity supply costs declined by 0.3%. Separately, the Industrial Production Index for January 2026 reached 109.5 units, representing a 3.7% year-on-year increase. During January 2026, the electricity supply sector saw an 18.6% rise and water supply grew by 6.0%, whereas mining and quarrying experienced a 16.1% decline. Both indices utilize 2021 as the base year with a value of 100 units.
