Journalist Makarios Drousiotis levels corruption allegations against high-ranking Cypriot officials

Journalist and author Makarios Drousiotis published a detailed article alleging that high-ranking Cypriot political and judicial figures are involved in a criminal network. The allegations, based on testimony from a source referred to as 'Sandy', implicate former judge Michalakis Christodoulou in sexual abuse and suggest systemic corruption. Names mentioned in the report include former President Nicos Anastasiades, Polys Polyviou, Morfakis Solomonidis, Myron Nikolatos, and Nicos Tornaritis. Drousiotis also links these figures to the 'black van' surveillance case, suggesting a connection between Anastasiades and former Israeli agent Tal Dilian. The Cyprus Police have instructed an officer to collect evidence from Drousiotis, who requested time to consult his legal counsel.
