Urgent appeal for blood donation following multi-vehicle traffic accident

A 18-to-19-year-old woman is in critical condition following a multi-vehicle collision on the Larnaca-Nicosia highway near Lympia. The incident occurred on Monday around 08:30 when the woman's vehicle collided with a car driven by a 51-year-old woman, causing both to block the right lane. Subsequently, a 31-year-old man crashed into the stationary vehicles, striking the young woman who had stepped out near the concrete barrier. She was transported to Nicosia General Hospital with multiple injuries. The Blood Center has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations to support her treatment. Donations are being accepted until 20:00 at the Geri and Engomi stations. Conflicting reports exist regarding the victim's age, citing both 18 and 19 years old, and some sources incorrectly list a Limassol location, though the primary reports specify the Larnaca-Nicosia highway.
