Two arrests made in Limassol following rental vehicle arson

Limassol authorities have arrested two men, aged 56 and 50, in connection with the arson of a rental vehicle. The incident occurred in the Keramopouleiou area on March 25, with the fire starting at approximately 5:50 a.m. While the Fire Service successfully extinguished the blaze, the vehicle sustained extensive damage. Investigations by the Limassol CID confirmed that the fire was set maliciously. Following these findings, police obtained judicial warrants leading to the arrest of the two suspects, who remain in custody for interrogation. Authorities are currently conducting further examinations to determine who was in possession of the rental vehicle at the time of the incident.
