Swedish man charged with sexual exploitation of his wife

A 62-year-old man in northern Sweden has been charged with aggravated pimping, rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault against his wife. Prosecutors allege that between August 2022 and October 2025, the accused forced his wife to perform sexual acts with over 120 men to generate financial profit. The indictment claims the suspect utilized online advertisements, coerced his wife through threats and violence, and exploited her drug addiction. Authorities identified approximately 120 individuals suspected of purchasing sexual services during this period. The suspect, who was arrested in late October 2025 following his wife's report to the police, denies all allegations. The charges also include instances of sexual acts performed in front of clients and multiple threats against the victim. The case is currently under judicial review, with the prosecution characterizing the actions as ruthless exploitation.
