Leo Natel completes transfer from AEL Limassol to Ordabasy

AEL Limassol has officially agreed to the transfer of Brazilian forward Leo Natel to the Kazakh club Ordabasy. The deal was finalized on March 31, 2026, after the Kazakh side submitted an improved offer that exceeded 400,000 euros, satisfying the demands of the Limassol administration. Natel, who previously recorded 6 goals and 5 assists in 27 appearances for AEL, is currently undergoing medical examinations to complete the move. His departure marks the third significant exit for the club this season, following the departures of Braga and Keller, despite the domestic transfer window in Cyprus being closed. AEL coaching staff, led by Hugo Martins, is now tasked with managing this squad loss while focusing on upcoming matches, including the cup semi-final against Pafos FC on April 8. While some club officials initially preferred retaining the player for the remainder of the season, the player's own desire to accept the lucrative offer played a decisive role in the final decision.
