AEL Limassol confirms the transfer of Leo Natel to Ordabasy

Athletic Union of Limassol (AEL) has officially announced the transfer of Brazilian forward Leo Natel to the Kazakh club FC Ordabasy. The decision follows a period of intense negotiations, as the initial offer of approximately 300,000 euros was rejected by the Cypriot club. An agreement was eventually reached for a reported fee of 420,000 euros, with the player reportedly contributing to the deal by sacrificing a portion of his outstanding salary. Natel, 29, was eager to accept the lucrative professional opportunity provided by the Kazakh side. During his tenure at AEL, he recorded 27 appearances across all competitions, contributing 6 goals and 5 assists. His departure is considered a significant sporting loss for AEL ahead of the crucial Cyprus Cup semi-final matches against Pafos FC.
