Larnaca district court sentences 19-year-old to two years for kiosk robbery

On March 29, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., three masked individuals entered a kiosk in Larnaca, Cyprus. The perpetrators threatened a 25-year-old employee and stole cash from the register. Police identified one of the suspects as a 19-year-old male during the investigation. He was arrested following a judicial warrant, with detention orders issued by the Larnaca District Court on March 30 and April 5. The police officially filed the case on April 9, 2025. Following a trial, the Larnaca District Court sentenced the 19-year-old to two years in prison. The time he spent in custody prior to the verdict will be credited toward his sentence. The case was investigated by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (TAE).
