Bank of Cyprus receives Euromoney awards for 2026
The Bank of Cyprus has been awarded the titles of Best Private Bank in Cyprus and Best for High-Net-Worth Individuals in Cyprus at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2026. This marks the second consecutive year the bank has received these recognitions, following its success in 2025. The assessment period for these awards spanned from July 2024 to June 2025. Euromoney evaluated the bank's achievements in private and affluent banking, noting improvements in digital onboarding and advisory services. A key factor in the selection was the bank's PrivilEDGE service, which offers personalized relationship management and bespoke portfolio access for high-income clients. Euromoney cited the bank's simplified pricing structure as a significant factor in meeting complex client needs. Christos M. Ioannou, head of private and affluent banking at the Bank of Cyprus, stated that the recognition underscores the bank's commitment to maintaining its service standards. The awards are issued by the global financial intelligence provider Euromoney.
