The Cyprus Customs Department announced that state revenues for 2025 increased by 5.6 percent compared to 2024, resulting in an additional inflow of over 75 million euros. Broken down by category, import duties rose by 11.5 percent, amounting to 6.8 million euros. Consumption taxes increased by 7.1 percent, totaling 38.2 million euros. Import VAT revenues saw a 4 percent growth, adding 30 million euros to the state budget. Other revenues increased by 9.3 percent, contributing an additional 0.5 million euros.
