Two bodies found in sealed apartment in Zografou, Athens

On Monday, March 30, Greek authorities discovered the bodies of two women in a state of advanced decomposition inside an apartment on Kousidi Street in the Zografou area of Athens. The apartment door had been sealed with construction materials, blocking entry. Relatives of the deceased had previously notified police that they had not seen the mother and daughter for several months and expressed concerns about the son. Upon entering the premises, officers found a man inside the apartment who has since been detained for questioning. The area remains under police cordon while the investigation continues. All possibilities are currently being examined by authorities to determine the cause and circumstances of the deaths. Reports indicate that the victims were a mother and her daughter.
