He noted that he was initially slated to judge on "The Masked Show," but that project was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the joint project with his wife. Additionally, Varthakouris addressed his involvement in the Eurovision selection process regarding his brother, Good Job Nicky. He revealed that he had doubts about the songs his brother initially considered for the contest. To address these concerns, he proposed a collaborative approach where he would compose songs for his brother to adapt for the competition.
