Greek national football team travels to Budapest for friendly against Hungary
Following a 1-0 defeat to Paraguay at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, the Greek national football team is preparing for a friendly match against Hungary in Budapest. The game is scheduled for March 31 at 20:00. Coach Ivan Jovanovic will be without Mavropanos, who sustained an injury during the previous match. Additionally, Kontouris has been excluded from the squad to join the U21 national team for their upcoming Euro qualifiers against Germany. Lazaros Rota is available for selection after recovering from a minor knock. The team departed for Budapest on March 29 after a final training session in Greece. The squad plans to return to Greece immediately after the match to allow players to rejoin their clubs for the Stoiximan Super League playoffs.
