27-year-old Second Lieutenant Evangelia Kafantogia-Kriebardi, currently serving at the 112th Combat Wing in Elefsina, gave an interview to the MEGA television network regarding her career in the Hellenic Air Force. Coming from a military family where her grandfather, father, and sister served as officers, she described the Air Force as a family environment. She noted that her training included four years at the Hellenic Air Force Academy followed by six years of flight-specific training. The pilot emphasized the necessity of passion and persistence for the profession, particularly during flight training. Kafantogia-Kriebardi participates in medical evacuation flights and highlighted that the service is a duty toward the country. She advocated for gender equality in the military, stating that the sky belongs to those who dare to claim it.
