Presentation of children's book on Evagoras Pallikarides to be held in Limassol

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., an event dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the execution of hero Evagoras Pallikarides will take place at the Panos Solomonides Cultural Centre in Limassol. Organized by DISY Member of Parliament Fotini Tsiridou, the event will feature a presentation and interactive narrative of the children's book 'Evagoras Pallikarides' by author Christos Oikonomidis. Actor Michalis Christou will conduct a creative, experiential storytelling session for children. Additionally, an Easter market selling handmade gifts will be held at the venue. All proceeds from the market and a portion of the book sales will be donated to the Amerikos Argyriou Centre for Preventive Paediatrics. The event aims to promote historical education and support the healthcare center's prenatal and neonatal screening programs. The organizers highlight the initiative as a way to engage the public in discussions about history and modern societal values.
