Reports of vandalism and attacks on police in Limassol and Larnaca

On Sunday, March 30, at 17:47, a motorcycle was deliberately set on fire in an open area near the Holy Cross Church in Polemidia, Limassol, resulting in extensive damage. In a separate incident on Friday, March 27, around 23:00, police and firefighters responded to a trash bin fire outside the Church of Saints Afxentios and Efstathios in Larnaca. Upon arrival, unknown individuals attacked the police patrol vehicle with fireworks. While official police reports state that no injuries or vehicle damage occurred, some media outlets reported potential use of Molotov cocktails and property damage to patrol cars. The Aradippou Police Station is currently investigating both incidents, though no suspects have been identified yet.
