Athletes participate in the 2026 Limassol marathon and international racing events

The XM Limassol Marathon 2026 took place in Cyprus, featuring significant participation from running clubs including AEL Runners and Apollon Runners. Members of AEL Runners completed various distances, with specific finish times recorded for the marathon, half-marathon, 10km, and 5km events. Marios Panteli finished the full marathon in 3:37:52, while Panagiotis Koulas completed the half-marathon in 1:35:57 and Giorgos Stylianou finished the 10km in 45:45. Simultaneously, the Apollon Runners club reported that over 50 of their members participated in the Limassol event across all categories. The club also noted that six of their athletes competed in the Nireas Triathlon in Ayia Napa. Additionally, representatives from Apollon Runners participated in international events, specifically the Rome Marathon and the Madrid Half-Marathon. The team maintains corporate partnerships with Monjasa Group and Antigonos Insurance.
