High demand and rising ticket prices for flights from Israel to Cyprus during Pesach
High demand for travel from Israel to Cyprus is reported for the upcoming Pesach holiday, which runs from April 1 to April 8. Due to security measures amid the ongoing conflict, foreign airlines have suspended operations at Ben Gurion Airport, leaving only Israeli carriers to operate limited schedules with restricted passenger capacity. Despite these constraints, Cyprus remains a top destination for Israeli travelers. As a result of high demand and limited seat availability, round-trip ticket prices to Larnaca and Paphos have reached approximately 450 euros. The Bulgarian airline Electra is operating flights from Aqaba in Jordan to Paphos without seating restrictions. Additionally, the Israeli airline Arkia has shifted most of its flights to Jordan, though it continues to use Ben Gurion Airport for its services to Cyprus.
