Pafos tourism sector expects full operational capacity by end of March
The Pafos Regional Board of Tourism announced that the region is preparing for full operational capacity by the end of March 2026. This process involves the gradual reopening of hotels to accommodate the new tourist season. Out of a total capacity of 30,000 beds, 25,000 are expected to be available for guests by the end of the month. The broader tourism ecosystem, including restaurants, museums, tourist services, and attractions, is also resuming full operations. Furthermore, the Pafos airport reports that approximately 95% of scheduled flights are currently operating as planned. The board notes that this connectivity ensures consistent access for visitors from key international markets. These actions are part of the region's broader strategy to promote itself as an attractive year-round Mediterranean destination. Stakeholders state that this development reflects their ongoing investment in local tourism infrastructure and service quality.
