KOAP distributes 3.88 million euros in subsidies for sheep and goat farmers

The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization (KOAP) has completed payments totaling 3,880,254 euros to beneficiaries. This funding is part of the 2025 Connected Support for Sheep and Goats intervention, operating under the 2023-2027 CAP Strategic Plan. The entire amount is financed exclusively through European Union funds. The organization stated that these payments are intended to support producers during the current period. Regarding the 2026 application cycle, the agency noted that further details will be announced following final decisions from the Managing Authority of the Strategic Plan of Cyprus. Eligible applicants will be notified in due course regarding the procedures for the next funding period.
