Cyprus petroleum product sales data for February 2026

According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus, total petroleum product sales in February 2026 reached 111,922 tonnes, representing a marginal annual increase of 0.1%. While year-on-year sales at petrol stations fell by 5.8% to 54,016 tonnes, significant increases were recorded in fuel supplies for ships (+133.7%) and aircraft (+24.9%), alongside growth in asphalt (+69.5%) and petrol sales (+5.0%). Conversely, steep declines were noted in heating gas oil (-37.0%), kerosene (-48.0%), LPG (-27.8%), and light and heavy fuel oil (-54.0% and -28.0% respectively). On a monthly basis, total sales decreased by 5.5% compared to January 2026, primarily driven by a 6.1% drop in aviation fuel supplies. Total petroleum stocks at the end of February 2026 rose by 7.3% compared to the end of the previous month. Cumulatively for the January–February 2026 period, total sales showed an increase of 5.5% compared to the same period in 2025.
